United for Ukraine events happening in Durham and you can help

A group in Durham is organizing events in the region to help Ukraine during the Russian invasion.

Organizer Shawn Neveu says their group is called United For Ukraine.

Right now, Neveu says they are asking local businesses to help support and or sponsor these events.

If you can help, email shawnneveu@gmail.com

At these events money is being raised for UNICEF Canada.

Neveu says they chose UNICEF because they are supporting the more than 7,500,000 displaced Ukrainian children.
