Two International Series events added to schedule

Two International Series events added to schedule

The Tour will first travel to the International Series Morocco, to be played at Royal Golf Dar Essalam, in Rabat, from November 3-6, before going on to the International Series Egypt the following week, at Madinaty Golf Club, in Cairo, from November 10-13.

Both events will boast prize money of US$1.5 million and play a key role in determining the Asian Tour Order of Merit champion, as well as the International Series money list winner.

The Asian Tour season is due to be completed in the month of December with several additional events to be announced in due course.

“This has been an unprecedented season and we are delighted to be able to announce exciting news about the Asian Tour’s first visit to North Africa,” said Cho Minn Thant, Commissioner and CEO, Asian Tour.

“This series of events has received tremendous feedback and it continues to build exciting momentum for our sport’s future.” – Greg Norman.

“The International Series Morocco and International Series Egypt are two spectacular additions to our schedule that will provide our members with a unique opportunity to compete somewhere new while allowing the Tour to broaden its reach.”

The two destinations have highly contrasting golfing history. Morocco, with its rich golfing pedigree, has been a regular fixture on the global golfing calendar hosting numerous international golfing events over the past two decades. On the other hand, Egypt is a relatively new market for professional golf with the International Series set to be the largest golf event ever staged in the country.

“We are honoured to be working alongside the Federation Royale Marocaine de Golf in adding this new event in Morocco, which has illustrious golfing heritage, as well as breaking new ground in Egypt beside the Egyptian Golf Federation. Outside of golf, these two destinations are undeniably high up on anyone’s travel bucket list with their storied past and spectacular historical sites,” added Cho.

The International Series was launched earlier this year thanks to a new landmark partnership between the Asian Tour and LIV Golf to invigorate the game in Asia and the Middle East.

“LIV Golf’s investment in The Asian Tour through The International Series is already delivering new opportunities for golfers from all over the world. These events are enhancing the player experience, creating pathways for career development and reinforcing golf’s growth on a global scale,” said Greg Norman, LIV Golf CEO and Commissioner. “This series of events has received tremendous feedback and it continues to build exciting momentum for our sport’s future.”

Commonwealth Games 2022, Day 11: India Schedule, Events List On August 8, Live Streaming, IST Time, TV Channel

CWG 2022, Day 11: India Schedule

India will be chasing five gold medals on Day 11 of CWG 2022 and three of them will be in Badminton — women’s singles, men’s single and men’s doubles.

It will be safe to assume that India are in with a good chance to win all three of those gold medals as they will field PV Sindhu, Lakshya Sen in singles.

In the doubles, India have on their ranks Chirag Shetty and Satwik Sairaj Renkireddy, and they too are in a good space to win the yellow metal.

In table tennis also, India will pursue a gold in men’s singles. In hockey, India men will face their Australian counterparts in the gold medal match, and which will also be India’s final competitive event in CWG 2022.

India will certainly want a gold in the hockey as women team ended up with a bronze after that controversial penalty shootout against Australia in their semifinals.

However, the task — winning the gold and extracting some vengeance on Australia — will not be easy for the Indians as the Aussies are quite the formidable side.

The closing ceremony is scheduled for 12 AM midnight, bringing curtains down on a sporting event that gave us some thrills and disappointments over the last fortnight.

Here we are giving India’s Day 11 schedule at the Commonwealth Games. The matches can be accessed on Sony Sports Networks and live streaming will be on Sony LIV.

Badminton

Women’s Singles Finals: PV Sindhu vs Michelle Li – 1:20 pm

Men’s Singles Finals: Lakshya Sen vs Ng Tze Yong – 2:10 pm

Men’s Doubles Finals: Chirag/Satwik vs Sean Vendy and Ben Lane – 3:00 pm.

Table Tennis

Men’s Bronze Medal Match: G Sathiyan vs Paul Drinkhal – 3:35 pm

Men’s Gold Medal Match: Achanta Sharath Kamal vs Liam Pitchford- 4:25 pm

Hockey

With less than a month until the Adult Swim Festival Block Party, Adult Swim unveils new details about the attractions, activities and acts that await fans in Philadelphia. Taking place August 5-7, in the colorful neighborhood of Fishtown, the series of events will feature an ongoing outdoor celebration of music, comedy and fandom.

The dynamic schedule of over 15 events throughout the Fillmore Campus will include headliners Run The Jewels, Dethklok and Philadelphia-native Tierra Whack, alongside panels for Adult Swim series Rick and Morty, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and SMILING FRIENDS. Additional acts just announced include: Brandon Wardell, Chill Moody, Conner O’Malley, Craig Conant, DeathbyRomy, Frank D Neblett, Jon DelCollo, Reggie Conquest and Rosebud Baker.

Fans who can’t make it to Philly can also enjoy watching rebroadcast highlights from music performances, panels, as well as fan favorite episodes as a part of a global live stream on Adult Swim’s YouTube channel throughout the weekend.

Ticketed events will be taking place at The Fillmore Philly, The Foundry, Punch Line Philly and Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia. Buying a ticket to any of the live shows gains access to the Adult Swim Block Party located at the Fillmore Campus & Other Half Brewing. The surrounding area (W. Laurel Street, Canal Street, E. Allen Street) will be closed off to traffic so that attendees can enjoy three days of attractions, food, and fun featuring a collection of local vendors.

Adult Swim Block Party ticket-holders can access all the fun Friday from 4:30-10:30 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday from Noon-10:30 p.m.

Wendy’s is coming to the party and bringing a human claw machine and exclusive treats. Select fans will get the chance to be lowered into a pit of prizes to grab from a variety of Rick and Morty swag. Making its East Coast debut at the Adult Swim Block Party, attendees can get their hands (and taste buds) on the limited-edition Pickle Rick Frosty – a pickle twist on the iconic Frosty. Fans can also enjoy free samples from Wendy’s breakfast menu – Wubba Lubba Grub Grub. On site to cool fans off and beat the summer heat, Klondike will be giving out free Klondike Cones.
